Features
PosPress has an easy to use GUI on both Front-end and backend. Backbone of its GUI is its dashboard. which is in other words the sales terminal. Dashboard
The dashboard contains following widgets
Info Widget: This widget contains business info as entered in settings.
Sales Widget: This widget is used to take orders and to checkout.
Stats Widget: This widget contains sales statistics of last 30 days and many more.
Customers ( and their transaction history )
This section is used to list, alter or remove existing customers, or to add new customers. A customer must be added here before using its name on sales widget if you want to store transaction history of a customer.
Products ( and their Sale / Purchase history and stock )
This section is used to list, alter or remove existing products, or to add new products. A product must be added here before using its barcode on sales widget. PoSPress maintains sales , purchase history for each product and also handles the stock management.
Orders
This section is only used to View or Delete existing orders. The orders are automatically added to this section on checkout. You can also update balance info for an order in this section.
Statistics
There are three kind of statistics for individual or all Products filtered by date range.

Bulk Import Utility for Products
You can also import products from CSV file exported from any other software. Staff Users
Here you can add any number of users/staff members. There are three types of user (These types are available only if you have enabled standalone mode.)
Owner: This type of users contain full privileges to perform any operation including add users, checkout order, add, delete or edit products and customers.
Manager: This user also have same privileges as Owner except it cannot add new users and cannot change system settings.
Sales Man: This user can only add new sales orders.
There are lot more features (e.g. stats), above was only an overview and many features are also in development queue. Changelog August 24, 2013 - Bug fixing - Added new module to show list of low stock and out of stock Products.
