Product Description Wiseloop JavaScript Fast Links is a jQuery powered script designed to offer an easy way to access the most popular web sites and services right from your home page considering the curent text selection. The shortcuts to the web sites and services are accessible through a context menu which is sensitive to the current selected text form the web page. Basically all you need to do, is just select some text, right click over it and all the available actions will be listed in a very nice CSS customizable context menu offering fast access to a lots of web sites and services that can be open considering the text selection. The script is highly customizable, various themes can be applied via CSS , restrict the allowed plugins, change the shortcut combination of keyboard + mouse etc.

Main Features The script will take the current selected text and is able to do the following actions with it:

search the selection using Google, Yahoo and Bing search; search the selection inside the current host domain using Google search; lookup inside Dictionary.com, Thesaurus.com for definitions; perform a translation of the selected text using Google Translate; search Wikipedia for the selected text; search Wolfram Alpha for the selected text; search for videos using Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion; search for audio records using Soundcloud; search for images using Flickr, Imageshack, Photobucket; tweet the selected text to Twitter; detect if the selected text can be an URL and offer ‘Open Link’ menu entry (like Firefox does);

Installation Instructions

Step 1: make a directory named /javascript-fast-links on your web server; Step 2: copy entire archive contens to the new created /javascript-fast-links directory; Step 3: include the /javascript-fast-links/wlFastLinks.js in the head section of your page and call wlFastLinks.go() method: <script type="text/javascript" src="/javascript-fast-links/wlFastLinks.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript">wlFastLinks.go();</script>

Step 4: check out the configuration in /javascript-fast-links/config.wlFastLinks.js file.
